SHAKTI, CGC, Advanced Trick Dog
("Dayspring's Spirit of SHAKTI")

Our beloved girl Shakti's making progress and getting better each day. Shakti thought she could jump in the car on her own, but we didn't let her do that of course.

We had a vet check up today and the vet was VERY happy with Shakti's condition. Shakti has more and more strength and energy. She tried to play a bit today and we were overjoyed to see her bright spirit coming back again.

She has a great appetite and is going back slowly to her regular diet. She's very pleased about that.

She doesn't need the antibiotics. The wound on her belly is healing nicely. She wags her tail more and more and snuggles with us like she always does. She gave her vet kisses too. She doesn't do that to everybody but only to people she really likes. She must have known that the vet saved her life and helped her in her recovery. Shakti must have felt that and showed her appreciation. It was her regular vet (not the vet who did the surgery). Her vets are absolutely wonderful.

After coming back home she got some more food and curled next to my feet and fell asleep.

I guess she knows by now that "Mom" and "Papa", her pack leaders,  will always be there for her, take care for her and protect her...That's what the pack leaders do and they do it with joy...
